Transform Your Smile with Dental Veneers in Cancun

Ever wished for a brighter, more even smile, without complex surgery?

Dental veneers are your answer. At Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry, we offer custom, high-quality veneers at up to 70% less than U.S. prices, all while you enjoy a tropical getaway in Cancun.

What Exactly Are Dental Veneers?

Dental veneers are thin shells placed over the front of your teeth, improving color, shape, and alignment. They cover: Chips, Gaps, Stains, Worn enamel, Minor misalignments, etc.

Veneers typically require minimal tooth reduction, preserving healthy enamel while rejuvenating your smile in just a few visits.

Types of Veneers We Offer

Composite Resin Veneers

  • Made from a tooth-colored resin material.
  • Often less expensive, can be placed in one or two visits.
  • May need replacing sooner (5–10 years) compared to porcelain.

Porcelain Veneers

  • Made from glass ceramic (porcelain).
  • Known for a natural, translucent look, resistant to stains.
  • Can last 10+ years with good care.

Zirconia Veneers

  • Fabricated with zirconium oxide, extremely strong and durable.
  • Ideal if you grind your teeth or want maximum strength.
  • Usually require 0.8–1.5 mm tooth reduction.

E-max Veneers

  • Crafted from lithium disilicate, offering high aesthetics and thin design.
  • Tooth reduction can be as little as 0.3 mm.
  • Great for front teeth needing minimal prep.

Lumineers / Da Vinci

  • Ultra-thin patented ceramics that sometimes require no or little tooth reduction.
  • Best for patients wanting a very conservative, short-term approach.

Your dentist will recommend the best material based on your bite, aesthetic goals, and budget.

Our Veneer Process (Step-by-Step)

01

Consultation & Evaluation

We examine your teeth, take digital X-rays, and ensure you’re a good candidate. We may suggest sedation if you’re anxious, but local anesthesia often suffices.

02

Enamel Preparation

A small amount of enamel (usually 0.3–1.5 mm) is removed to make room for the veneers. This ensures a comfortable fit and natural thickness.

03

Impressions & Temporary Veneers

We take digital impressions, then place temporary veneers while our lab custom-makes your permanent set, typically within 5–8 days.

04

Final Bonding

Once your permanent veneers arrive, we bond them using strong dental cement. Your dentist checks alignment, color, and bite, ensuring a flawless finish.

Full-mouth veneer transformations can often be done in just one week, perfect for a short vacation in Cancun!

"If money were no object and I could go anywhere in the world to have dental work done I would without question choose these people"

Jason Novak

"Has been approximately two years since I had my smile reconstruction at Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry.

I decided to wait before providing a review to see the true results. I also recently returned for a follow-up visit.

I flew into Cancun and had a full smile reconstruction in October 2021. I was quoted 30k for the same work at my local cosmetic dentist. My initial experience with Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry was very good. The staff was fantastic.

Special recognition to service representative Elizabeth. I was assisted with transport from the airport and advised on lodging nearby, which was extremely convenient to the office.

The description of the procedure was extremely clear. I was also offered a 500.00 special where I was able to sleep the entire time. I have even met with a cosmetic dentist in the states who I continue to see after my procedure and the response was positive.

I have found the dental work to be of high standard. I recommend Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry to anyone wishing to have implants, dentures, veneers, or any general or cosmetic dentistry work to use Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry."

Eric Howe

I don’t usually leave reviews but feel that my treatment and experience deserves an amazing review. This year I decided that it was time so visited with a local dentist here in North Texas who after evaluating my dental situation provided a plan to ‘put my teeth right’.

Cost was to be upward of $17,000. I needed it doing so put the finances in place but something didn’t seem right and I’d heard of people visiting Mexico for dental work so my investigation started.

I did a lot of research, read both good and bad stories but came to the conclusion that based upon price I could have the work completed and at the same time spend a week at a nice hotel for a fraction of the price. I contacted a few dental offices but one stood out, namely Cancun Cosmetic Dentistry. They have a lot of videos on YouTube and are operated by a Doctor German who looked ultra professional.

From the minute I arrived to the minute I left I cannot speak highly enough about the people there. I ended up having a smile makeover and love love love my new look. I think my teeth are perfect.

Lastly, let’s talk about pain. I don’t do dental pain and for a nominal fee was able to bring in an anaesthetist who put me to sleep when the procedures that scared me were taking place.

If money were no object and I could go anywhere in the world to have dental work done I would without question choose these people. Thank you, you made me smile again. Can’t wait till we meet again."

Caring for Your New Veneers

  • Brush & Floss regularly using a non-abrasive toothpaste.
  • Avoid Hard Bites on ice or pens; these can chip porcelain or composite.
  • Routine Checkups at least once a year, professional cleanings help your veneers last 10+ years.
  • Mind Potential Grinding. If you clench at night, consider a night guard.

Frequently Asked Questions About Veneers

Do veneers hurt?

We use local anesthesia; it’s a minimally invasive procedure. Most patients say there’s little to no pain.

How long do veneers last?

With good care, brushing, flossing, routine checkups, porcelain veneers can last 10–15 years or more. Composite veneers typically last 5–10 years.

Will my veneers look fake?

No. We custom-shade each veneer to match your teeth or desired shade. Our advanced labs ensure a lifelike translucency and shape.

Are veneers permanent?

Because a thin layer of enamel is removed, it’s irreversible. However, modern veneers are incredibly durable with the right aftercare, effectively long-term solutions.

Can I get veneers on just the top teeth?

Yes! Some patients only want an upper-arch makeover, or select a few key teeth to fix. We tailor it to your needs.

Do I need sedation for veneers?

Most patients manage fine with local anesthesia. But if you have anxiety, IV sedation can make the process completely stress-free.
